We are therefore all the more delighted to have gained Joëlle Baccialon, an exceptional personality, as our representative in Monaco, France and Italy.
New representative for Monaco, France, and Italy with global experience
Joëlle was born in Monaco and grew up in an entrepreneurial family. She became familiar with the world of international trade at an early age: at just 20 years old, she managed business development in the US, supplied large restaurant chains such as Domino's Pizza and Pizza Hut, and was part of the establishment of a global food company.
In the 1980s, she took on responsibility in the family business La Monégasque, which gained worldwide renown for processing and exporting anchovies. As president of the export company Framosa, Joëlle developed international markets from North Africa to North America and established trade relations at a time when globalization was not yet a buzzword.
With her own company, SAMEI, she later expanded into the seafood industry and successfully imported up to 2,000 tons of crustaceans per year to Europe. At the same time, she founded companies in the fields of renewable energies and sustainable building materials, long before “sustainability” became a trend.
Networker and leader
In addition to her entrepreneurial career, Joëlle has always been involved in international associations:
- Secretary General of FCEM (Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises Mondiales): a global network of women entrepreneurs in over 120 countries.
- Vice President of Femmes Leaders Mondiales Monaco.
- Founding member and Secretary General of CEREM (Chambre des Énergies Renouvelables et de l’Écologie de Monaco).
Her values: solidarity, connection, ethics, loyalty, and reliability, are deeply rooted in her biography and continue to shape her entrepreneurial activities to this day.
